Umbrella Insurance

An umbrella insurance policy is additional liability coverage, which would cover you in the event you were to be found liable for another parties injuries or damage to their property. Your underlying policy (auto, home, boat, etc.) is still the primary source of coverage, however if the liability coverage on those policies is not enough to make the other party whole again, your umbrella policy would provide additional liability coverage to protect you.
